In June 2026, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of the People, graduating Cum Laude with a CGPA of 3.54.
This marks the completion of an important chapter for me, not simply because I earned a degree, but because of what the years of study added to the way I think, work, and approach the world.
My experience did not follow the conventional rhythm of a traditional university journey. I completed the program online while continuing another degree program in India, managing much of the experience independently and alongside other academic commitments. There was no familiar campus routine around which the experience unfolded, nor did graduation arrive with the conventional setting in which family, friends, and classmates gather to mark the occasion.
Still, completing this chapter mattered to me, and I wanted to take the time to celebrate it. The program exposed me to a range of subjects and perspectives that extended beyond the narrow understanding often associated with business education. Through my studies, I engaged with areas including philosophy, psychology, sociology, economics, consumer behavior, business strategy, and the political dimensions of business, among others.
What I value most is not simply having studied these subjects individually, but how they expanded the angles from which I now examine questions. They offered additional ways to think about institutions, incentives, human behaviour, decision-making, communication, and the systems within which people and organizations operate. Those perspectives have gradually become part of how I approach my broader work and interests.
They have also been consequential in more practical ways. The intellectual range developed through this period has informed the projects and platforms I have been building and contributed to the way I approach research, strategy, communication, and questions concerning human behaviour and complex systems.
The experience was not without pressure. Balancing this program alongside another degree required sustained independent work and the ability to manage competing academic demands. But looking back, the intellectual exposure and perspective it provided made the effort worthwhile.
A degree does not define everything that follows it. Nor is its value contained entirely in a certificate, a classification, or a final grade. But meaningful education can change the tools through which a person encounters the world. For me, this chapter expanded those tools. It gave me perspectives I continue to carry into my work and helped shape the foundations from which I am continuing to build. I am grateful for what this journey demanded, what it taught me, and what it made possible. This is a chapter completed, but its influence will continue.
